  • The Isaiah Community Garden was acquired just after lockdown in July. ‘A place to be in a peaceful setting in the open air’. Gardening and growing plants is very therapeutic and being part of the cycle of nature - sowing, nurturing and harvesting is so rewarding. We are open to all members of the community

  • Coffee Morning Tuesday’s are a weekly catch up, designed as a place out residents can get together to have a chat and find out what’s new in their lives. They take every Tuesday from 1pm - 2.30 at Ferndale Baptist Hall.

  • Wednesday Open House is open to both our residents and non-residents, for anyone who wants to pop along and find out more about The Isaiah Project or just to come in for a chat. Everyone is welcome.and they take place every Wednesday from 11am -12.30pm at Ferndale Baptist Hall. We hope to see you there.

  • This programme, made possible by a grant from Santander, came under the heading of ‘The Family Feed’, founded by Charlotte Clark, nutritionist and advocate for food freedom and body positivity. We have run two courses addressing a common mealtime dilemma: fussy eating. A video was released each week that deals with different aspects like: the importance of variety and exposure to foods to encourage a nutrient rich food intake; giving children trust and ownership over their appetite; our own attitude and self-talk when it comes to building a positive relationship with food and body image. There was also a weekly activity and recipe to try. Going forward the course has been set up to be available, along with a workbook, so participants can do this at their own pace, either alone, with their befriender or in a group.
